I was out of town when this month’s Romance Reveal box arrived, so I was excited to get home and open it!

A nice mix of books this month. The Carolyn Brown book looks like it’s more in the vein of chick lit, while the Kendra Elliot book is romantic suspense.

Swag, part one.

Swag, part two. I like most of it, with the exception of the card for Hell Will Rise. How is this a romance book? Also, this is purely personal preference, but I dislike this trend of heroes with a cigarette hanging out of their mouths on the covers of books. I’m not a smoker, so it doesn’t appeal to me at all. Other than that, I like the other swag I received.

I’m glad that this box included a variety of sub-genres, since the majority of the books I’ve received in the past are usually contemporary or new adult. I’ve been reading more psychological fiction when I’m not reading romance, so I’m looking forward to reading this romantic suspense book. I hope future boxes will have a good mix like this one.
